Samuel D. McAninch, born 1822, Giles County, Tennessee, son of Henry and

 

Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) McAninch; Samuel married Sarah Hartsfield,

 

16 Oct. 1846, DeSoto County, Mississippi; moved to Memphis, Shelby County,

 

Tennessee, early 1850’s; believed to have died there, late 1860’s, since Sarah is

 

listed as his widow in Memphis City Directories in 1871 and subsequent years.
