Additionally, if this is the same John McAninch and family through this 30-year period, |
|
then the Daniel McAninch in Giles County in 1820 is probably John's father, the elder |
|
Daniel McAninch (before 1820, he was last seen in 1817, in Casey County, Kentucky). |

|
It is not known who Daniel's youngest son [b.1802-1804 (prob. b.Kentucky)] and |
|
youngest daughter [b.1805-1810 (prob. b.Kentucky)] are, and more research is |
|
needed here. However, after the land played out in the ‘knob country’ of Kentucky, |
|
it is easy to believe that Daniel might have moved to Giles County with his son John |
|
and their families, and that Daniel may have died and been buried in Giles County, |
|
Tennessee, and not in Casey County, Kentucky. |
