One Hundred Years Ago: McAninch in the 1910 Census |
|
One hundred years ago, there were over 240 different McAninch families in the United States, |
|
as listed in the 1910 census. In recognition of this 100-year history, coverage of the 1910 census |
|
begins in this issue, and will continue through 2010. McAninch extracts in two states were printed |
|
previously (Nevada and Oregon), and McAninch families in Illinois and New Mexico are covered |
|
in this issue (note the connection from Illinois to New Mexico, it was hard to find Effie and three |
|
McAninch children in Silver City, New Mexico). With over 30 McAninch families, Iowa will be |
|
featured in the next issue (January 2010), and then the remaining states during the rest of next year. |
