There’s a humorous old adage about the ‘four season climate’ here in sunny Southern California – |
|
Summer, Fire, Winter, Flood. Unfortunately, the Fire season in 2007 came in with a bang, and |
|
has devastated whole communities in the foothills and valleys. We have been safe here, at the |
|
beach, but we all know people who have been directly affected, co-workers that live in the foothills, |
|
friends in various clubs and organizations, and one of our neighbors, a firefighter who spent the |
|
week fighting the big fire in the hills above Malibu. We can’t say enough in honor of the men and. |
|
women who work as firefighters. |
|
|
|
And, to mark the completion of another trip around the sun, HAPPY NEW YEAR. |
