Coatesville M.E.: Pleasant Hill, Member 1861, Member 1862, Pleasant Hill Class [H.2., est. 1863], Coatesville, Member 1867, Coatesville Class 1870, Coatesville? Class [H.5., prob. (18)73], Member, 1879, Coatesville Class 1881, Coatesville Class 1882. Daniel McAninch was a Trustee of the (Old) Pleasant Hill Methodist Episcopal Church, 1859, and was an elected Justice of the Peace in Hendricks County, 1859, 1860, and 1864 [History of Hendricks Co., 1885, pg. 589]. Phebe died 1883, and he married (2nd) Louisa Bruce, Oct. 2, 1887, Hendricks Co. Daniel died suddenly in 1897; all three (Daniel, Phebe, Louisa) are buried in Stilesville Cemetery. |

Daniel A. and Rhoda (Wilson) McAninch lived in Coatesville, ½ or 1 mile west of the Coatesville church. Daniel died in 1930, and both Daniel and Rhoda are buried in the Coatesville Cemetery. |

John, Martha, and seven children (Samuel, William, Valentine, Milton, Sarah, Mary E., and John Wesley) lived in Franklin Township, Stilesville P.O., Hendricks County, in the 1870 Census [M593 R322 p.363]. Did they go to (Clinton Co.?) Iowa?; reportedly, John died in 1891, in Iowa. |
