line of Craig’s land thence by said Craig’s line N[orth] 1 [one] East seventy perches to a black oak in George Craig’s line thence by said Craig’s line South eighty-nine degrees East thirty-three perches to a post thence by said Craig’s line North one degree East one hundred and sixty two perches to the place of beginning Containing one hundred and seventy-five acres and sixty perches and allowance of six percent for roads +c [etc] being the allotment No. 3 of tract No. 315 of Holland land, surveyed and returned on warrant numbered 2869 as ass’d [assigned] being the same tract of land conveyed by Charles Gaskill agent [Holland Land Company] and which was this day conveyed by John McInch and wife to William McCullogh ... provide always nevertheless that of the said William McCullogh his heirs executors administrators or assigns shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said John McInch his heirs or assigns the aforesaid debt or sum of two hundred and seventy two dollars with lawful interest thereon on the day and time herein before mentioned ... This indenture ... third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight Between John McInch and Betsy his wife of the one part and William McCullogh of the other part, all of Armstrong County. Witnesseth ... John McInch and Betsy his wife ... for three hundred and fifty dollars lawful money of the United States herein hand paid by ... William McCullogh ...have granted, bargained, sold, aliened [sic], enfieffed, released, and confirmed ... unto the said William McCullogh [his] heirs and assigns ... land ... in Armstrong County, State of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows [land description same as 1838 Mortgage] allotment No. 3 of tract No. 315 of Holland land, surveyed and returned on warrant numbered 2869 as ass’d [assigned] ... granted to him by the Holland Company by their agent Charles Gaskill and by which deed dated fifth day of [unreadable] 1837 [1831 ?] conveyed to John McInch and wife ...
