Gray H. Edwards of the County of Giles and State of Tennessee of the one part

 

and John McAninch of the County and State aforesaid of the other part ...

 

two hundred dollars ...

 

land ... in the County of Giles, State of Tennessee on the waters of Richland Creek

 

Beginning at a stake in James Buford's south boundary line and in the east boundary of the original

 

tract of Buncomb's heirs as marked by Ralph Graves[sp?] running thence south with Buncomb's line

 

one hundred and twenty three poles to a hickory and ironwood the same being the north east corner

 

of a tract John McAninch bought of Andrew Fay thence west fifty two poles to a hickory thence north

 

one hundred and twenty three poles to two cedars thence east to the beginning

 

containing thirty nine acres and one hundred and fifty six poles ...
