This indenture made this fifth day of November one thousand eight hundred & nineteen between

John McAninch of the one part and John Butler of the other part both of the County of Giles and

State of Tennessee … sum of one hundred & twenty five dollars  … on the west side of Richland

Creek of Elk river

[land description same as 1816 Deed, with McEwin’s name] 

Beginning at David H. McEwin corner on a small beech standing on the western boundary

line [and running due east twenty nine chain and fifty links along said] McEwin’s line to

John Barnett’s corner [on a sugar tree thence south along said Barnett’s line to his south west

Corner thence west along] Tilman Daniel’s line [to the original western line thence north

along original western line to the Beginning]

[containing by survey ninety four acres be the same more or less]
