Notes “Ind.Sta.Lib.” added March 2003 by Frank McAninch.

[Ind.Sta.Lib.5]

This list is a typed copy of the same thirteen names, with some subtle differences and enhancements on this typed list, starting with the title line.

Other specific variations and enhancements are noted below.

[Ind.Sta.Lib.6]

Style changes on this typed list include the use of abbreviations

(“dau.”, months “Jan.”, “Aug.”, “Nov.”); spelling out the ages in years, months, and days, instead of the 3-digit notation on the hand-written list [3a1]; and minor spelling variations, (Earnest / Ernest).

[Ind.Sta.Lib.7]

Of course, this typed list, annotated “10/26/64”, does not include the Anna

M. King and Rebecca King corrections, “(Information provided by Mark Accas, Nash., Tenn., Oct. 13, 1977)” [3a2] [first document, page 3, above].

[Ind.Sta.Lib.8]

McAninch, Isabelle: she was the first wife of Enoch George McAninch,

not “wife of John McAninch”; also, whoever typed this list has added

date of death, and age information, which are believed to be correct.

[Ind.Sta.Lib.9]

McAninch, Charles W.: son of “J. & E. J.”, instead of “E. J. + E. J.” [corrected for Joseph and Elizabeth Jane (Quiett) McAninch on typed list].

[Ind.Sta.Lib.10]

McAninch, Phebe E: middle initial “E,” added on typed list.

[Ind.Sta.Lib.11]

Phillips, Sally, wife of John S. Phillips: middle initial “S,” on typed list.

[Ind.Sta.Lib.12]

Pike, Nancy Catherine: parenthetical comment “(no age)” added.

[Ind.Sta.Lib.13]

Pike, Margaret A..: “November 3, 1847” on first list [3a1], but “Nov. 13, 1847” on this typed list; parents names “T.U.P.” [sic]

[should be “T. + P.”, for Tristram and Peggy Pike]

[Ind.Sta.Lib.14]

If the King corrections from the “Mark Accas, 1977” [3a2] note were applied, then there would be three King records on this list:

(3)  King, John, d. Oct. 5, 1868, Aged 73 years

(4a) King, Anna M., Feb. 3, 1864, Aged 64 years, wife of John King

(4b) King, Rebecca, d. July 22, 1859, Aged 35 years

[Ind.Sta.Lib.14a]

King family information corroborated by census records [48] [49]

[Ind.Sta.Lib.14b]

updated 14-name ‘short list’ is available at Plainfield P. L. [5] [5g] [5h]

Copies of these two documents were obtained on a research trip to Indiana,

by Frank McAninch [6], and cousin Lillian McAninch [8], and have been transcribed here in this Appendix by the author [6].
